Lasting Power of Attorney

A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) formerly known as an Enduring Power of Attorney, is a legal document that appoints someone, on your behalf, to make decisions should you lose the mental capacity to make your own decisions.

Lasting Power of Attorney outlines what you want to happen if you are incapacitated just as a Will specifies your wishes of what is to happen after you have passed away.
